The Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900T01-A) course is a 1-day, entry-level training that introduces the core concepts of cloud computing and Microsoft 365. It’s ideal for individuals who are either new to the Microsoft ecosystem or looking to validate their foundational knowledge of cloud services.

Participants will begin by learning about cloud computing models (public, private, hybrid), SaaS principles, and the benefits of cloud adoption, such as scalability, high availability, and cost optimization. The course then shifts focus to Microsoft 365—exploring how it enhances productivity, supports collaboration, and integrates seamlessly with intelligent services and security tools.

Topics include:

• Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Viva, Yammer)

• Endpoint and device management through Microsoft 365

• Identity and access control with Microsoft Entra ID

• Threat protection via Microsoft Defender XDR

• Compliance and privacy using Microsoft Purview

• Licensing, pricing, billing, and support structure for Microsoft 365

Participants will also explore analytics capabilities, such as Viva Insights and admin center reporting, and get practical guidance on how to evaluate and support Microsoft 365 implementations in any organization.

No deep technical background is required—just basic IT familiarity. This course also supports the Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals certification exam.
